Loy Yang Traralgon Finals
Monica Puig of Puerto Rico beat Russia’s Yulia Putintseva in the girls
final of the Loy Yang Traralgon International 6-2; 6-4. Puig made it two
for two when she teamed with Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard to add the girls
doubles title to her singles crown. They handled the Korean team of Su
Jeong Jang So-Ra Lee easily in their 6-2; 6-1 win.
On the boys’ side Andres Artunedo Martinavarr defeated Australia’s Luke
Saville 2-6; 6-3; 6-2. In doubles, George Morgan of Britain and Mate
Pavic of Croatia defeated
Ban Wgaland and Andrew Whittington 7-5; 6-4.
