Federer Relishes a Full February Schedule

Roger Federer is glad to benefit from a full February schedule, as the only member of the ATP elite to fill up his playing calendar in the weeks after the Australian Open looks to more Rotterdam success before traveling to his training base in Dubai and that upcoming ATP 500 event.  "I just felt it was the right thing to do, we'll see how it goes," said the Swiss No. 3, playing while the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray are off-court.

 

Connors Has “Fireside Chat” to Benefit Merv Griffin Charity

Last Saturday night Jimmy Connors held an intimate "Fireside Chat" at Big Horn Golf Club in Palm Desert, California in conjunction with  the Childhelp Desert Classic, a USTA Women's $25,000 Pro Circuit event.  The event raised funds for Childhelp Merv Griffin Village, a residential treatment center for severely abused children.
