Indian Wells Pre-Qualifying Begins Today

The 2012 BNP Paribas Open Pre-Qualifying tournament begins today, Monday, February 27, and will run through Saturday, March 3. From fast-rising young stars to talented local players, the pre-qualifying draw features more than 145 competitors (90 men and 59 women) playing to earn a wildcard into the BNP Paribas Open qualifying tournament, to be held March 5-7 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

 

 

Anderson Named PTR Professional of the Year

Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) presented its annual awards this week during the 2012 PTR International Tennis Symposium. The event, including a tennis trade show and tournament is being held February 24-28, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, in Orlando, Florida.

Kirk Anderson, of New Fairfield, Connecticut, was presented PTRís coveted Professional of the Year Award.
