Nadal Not Obsessed with Djokovic

Rafael Nadal may be on a big losing streak against Novak Djokovic, but he says that thoughts of the Serbian do not occupy his mind on daily basis.

“When I wake up every morning and I go on court for practice, I don't think about Novak. I think about the things I need to keep improving, I think about myself."

 

Ljubicic to Retire From Tour Next Month

One of the wisest heads in current tennis is due to retire next month, with Ivan Ljubicic deciding that his time on court is soon to be done.

The 32-year-old Croatian father of two - his youngest child was born only recently - will step away from the game after the Monte Carlo Masters in April. He told the ATP website that the decision, wasn't easy.

 

Kuerten Elected to Hall of Fame

One of Brazil's most beloved and successful athletes, Gustavo "Guga" Kuerten, has been elected to receive the highest honor in the sport of tennis- induction to the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

 

 

Federer is Still Not a Fan of Hawk-Eye

Roger Federer doesn't ever see himself becoming a fan of the Hawk-Eye electronic line-calling system, with the traditionalist Swiss saying the games loses some of its humanity when computers make the calls.

"What I like without Hawk-Eye is just the players challenging the umpires more often. The umpires had to be very aware," said the 16-time major winner who has a so-so record when he does make challengers - some of them obviously half-hearted."
