Competition at the Olympics Will be Very Fierce

Andy Murray has his own dreams of an Olympic gold medal at home at the London Games - but the Scot cannot rule out the possibility that mighty Roger Federer could be even more driven than himself to succeed on the big stage of the Games.

"You never know what's going to happen with injuries or your body or simply, I guess, with motivation. You never know how people are going to feel."

Halle is Celebrating an Anniversary

The grass court event in Halle has announced a program of events to celebrate its 20th edition in June, including a ‘Champions Trophy’ exhibition featuring Andrea Petkovic & Stefan Edberg vs. Martina Navratilova & Michael Stich, plus concerts featuring stars such as Melanie C and Sarah Connor.

This Time it is Clay All Around

For the first time in the history of the competition, all four Davis Cup quarterfinal ties (Spain vs. Austria, France vs. USA, Czech Republic vs. Serbia and Argentina vs. Croatia) are being played on clay courts.

Barcelona Attracting Nadal, Murray and Other Top Players

Andy Murray will challenge the home-grown clay superiority of six-time champion Rafael Nadal at next month's Barcelona clay event. Tournament director Alberto Costa was pleased to announce a high-profile field, headed as usual by king of clay Nadal, who is defending yet another title at the Real club de Tenis from April 21.

In addition to No. 2 Nadal and No. 4 Murray, three other Top 10 players will be on hand in the Catalan capital: three-time finalist David Ferrer, Czech Tomas Berdych and Serb Janko Tipsarevic.
