The shoulder injury which will keep Vera Zvonareva from Russia's Fed Cup team as it plays a semi-final with Serbia next week in Moscow could also deny the two-time Grand Slam finalist a spot at the London Olympics.

Isner Returns Home to Train for Clay Court Season

John Isner will train at home rather than heading back to Europe, with the big American pulling out of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Fernandez Hired for Connecticut Club

Hall of Famer Gigi Fernandez has been named Director of Tennis at the giant Chelsea Piers Connecticut, a 400,000-sq-ft state-of-the-art sports and recreation facility located in Stamford, Conn. It is slated to open in July 2012.

Chelsea Piers Connecticut will consist of seven core sports facilities encompassing more than 18 sports. The tennis club will have seven indoor courts.
