Sharapova
Begins Early Preparation for French Open
Maria
Sharapova is planning to get tough this clay season, with the world No.
2 heading to Europe form California early as she competes in the
high-profile WTA clay event in Stuttgart. Germany's motor city, the home
of Porsche, boasts an event featuring the top four players in the world
as well as marking the Tour return of German trendsetter Andrea Petkovic
after a back injury.
Fish is
Cautiously Planning His Return to the Tour
Mardy
Fish continues to deal with his unspecified health demons, with the No.
9 and top American currently not even 100 percent sure of playing at the
French Open. Fish went through a health scare after losing in Miami last
month, an experience which has still not been explained.
U.S. Teams
Named for Junior Davis Cup and Fed Cup Competition
The
USTA announced the top American juniors who will represent the United
States in the Junior Davis Cup (16-and-under) and Junior Fed Cup
(16-and-under) by BNP Paribas and the World Junior Tennis Competition
(14-and-under) North/Central American and Caribbean Championships.

Glickstein to
Teach at “Y” Camps in New Jersey
Former
Israeli Davis Cup Captain and ATP Touring Pro, Shlomo Glickstein, will
be returning to the New Jersey “Y” Camps teaching two different sessions
of camp. He will be based at the NJY Camps located in Milford, PA from
July 8-13 and August 5-10, running an intensive specialty program with
four hours of daily instruction for children of all ages and skill
levels.
