ITF to Change Olympic Qualification Rules

The ITF will change its Olympic qualifications rule for the 2016 Olympic, Daily Tennis has learned. After the 2012 London Olympics, a player must make himself or herself available to play Davis Cup or Fed Cup four times in an Olympic cycle.  

Federer Sees This Summer Full of Tennis Opportunities

Roger Federer has his pick of tennis challenges this event-filled summer with the 16-time major champion keen to add to his career honors total.

"We have a wonderful set of high points (French Open, Wimbledon, the Olympics and US Open). "We are privileged to have so many. The season for me divides into two blocks - the French Open and Wimbledon, a three-week break and then the Olympics and the hardcourt season in North America."

ITF Names Wheelchair Coach of the Year

The ITF has named Dan James the 2011 Wheelchair Tennis Coach of the Year and will be recognized during the 2012 BNP Paribas World Team Cup in Seoul, Korea.
