Friendship Between Federer and Nadal Has Cooled a Bit

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal may not be crossing paths as much as they did a few seasons ago with the Spaniard now off of the ATP Players Council headed by the Swiss. But that doesn't mean the pair of rivals who stands third and second in the world respectively have lost any respect for each other.

ITF Looking for 1970 US Open Poster

The ITF will celebrate its centenary next year and as part of these celebrations it is putting together a coffee table book – written by Chris Bowers – covering all aspects of the ITF and tennis, past and present.

The ITF desperately trying to find a copy of the 1970 US Open poster with the slogan ‘You are cordially invited to sudden death in the afternoon’. This was promoting the introduction of the tiebreak. It doesn’t need to keep a copy of the poster; they just want to photograph it so it can be used in the book.

Can anyone help?

If you are able to provide a photo or make the poster available for a photo, please email bob@tennsnews.com.
