Murray Encourages Increased Blood Testing
Previously
Andy Murray has always criticized the intrusion drug testers make into
his life, ringing on his door bell at 6am in the morning. However in the
wake of the Lance Armstrong crisis that has rocked not just cycling but
world sports, the Scot has called upon tennis to introduce more blood
tests and more out-of-competition testing in order to prevent the sport
from suffering a similar doping scandal.
Australian Government To Encourage Citizens To Play Tennis On Australia
Day
The
Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Sport, Senator Kate Lundy, today
announced a new partnership with Tennis Australia at the Parliament
House launch of Australian Open 2013 on January 26.
The
Minister launched a $250,000 pilot program, jointly funded by the
Government and Tennis Australia (TA) that will begin on Australia Day at
Australian Open 2013. The program brings the Minister’s portfolios of
sport and multiculturalism together under the theme of ‘Do Something
Australian on Australia Day – Play Tennis’.
Murray Fears Consequences Of Heavy Calendar Just Before Tour Finals
Andy
Murray has warned that back-loading the ATP calendar and foregoing the
rest week prior to the start of the World Tour Finals can only lead to
trouble, based mainly on injury pullouts as player refuse to risk
themselves prior to the year-end wrap-up event.

professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years
at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems,
daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to
venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of
all the professionals and some juniors. The images have all been
preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color
positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact
sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and
they are for sale. Seller will transfer copyright and will give total
