The
Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, have been named The Tennis News Persons of
the Year in recognition of their service to worthy tennis causes
throughout the year, but, according to Daily Tennis News Publisher Bob
Larson, even more in recognition of their career-setting record of
tennis performance.
Stepanek Wins Deciding Rubber In Davis Cup Final

Stepanek struck an historic blow for both the history of Czech tennis
and those who insist there is still a place for the veterans in
top-flight sport as he became the oldest man in the modern era to win
the crucial fifth rubber to clinch the Davis Cup final.

Lendl Honored With Davis Cup Award Of Excellence
Ivan
Lendl was a leader on the Czechoslovakian team for eight years, most
notably in 1980, when they won their only Davis Cup title. Sunday, he
was presented the Davis Cup Award of Excellence at the 2012 Davis Cup by
BNP Paribas Final, hosted in Prague.

Players Receive New Davis Cup Award
The
ITF launched the Davis Cup Commitment Award at the 100th Davis Cup by
BNP Paribas Final between Czech Republic and Spain at the O2 Arena in
Prague.
The ITF
presented the first eight trophies to Nicola Pietrangeli, Domenico
Vicini, Manolo Santana, Juan Gisbert, Feliciano Lopez, Jan Kodes Tomas
Smid and Tomas Berdych.

at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems,
daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to
venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of
all the professionals and some juniors. The images have all been
preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color
positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact
sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and
