looks like Sloane Stephens has yet to solve her abdominal injury puzzle
as the promising American teen has pulled out of Fed Cup with an ab
strain.
Czech Doubles Team Sets Davis Cup Record Win
With
the exception of Novak Djokovic, most of the world’s leading players
opted against extending themselves in the weekend’s Davis Cup action,
maintaining the fixtures came too close on the back of the Australian
Open. But the Czech Republic’s Tomas Berdych worked overtime to play the
hero’s role for the defending champions in their win over Switzerland in
Geneva.

USTA Expands Training Program at National Training Center
The
USTA announced that USTA Player Development is expanding its training
program at the National Training Center-East at the USTA Billie Jean
King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., hiring Erik Kortland as
National Coach, Junior Development, to coach players in a new “Feeder
Program” for boys and girls ages 9 through 13.

professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years
at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems,
daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to
venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of
all the professionals and some juniors. The images have all been
preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color
positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact
sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and
they are for sale. Seller will transfer copyright and will give total
usage to the purchaser. Lists available with players, tournaments,

Position: Community Outreach Manager
The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is a nationally recognized
tennis facility in College Park, Maryland, that trains national and
international level elite juniors. JTCC also has a growing community
outreach program for underprivileged youth. This is a maturing
experience for JTCC players because they learn to become role-models by
teaching younger children how to play tennis.
Community Outreach Manager (COM) will work closely with the General
Manger and CEO to manage all facets of program.
