Nadal Denies A ‘Deal’ With ITF And ATP World Tour

Nadal has not been deaf to the rumors he calls scandalous but have
nevertheless circulated during his seven months long lay-off from
top-flight competitive tennis; that his absence has been down to a deal
brokered with the International Tennis Federation and ATP World Tour, to
cover up possible doping offences.
Nadal Is Happy With Knee Progress

Nadal could not be happier with his comeback to tennis after more than
seven months away with a knee injury. The Spaniard who now stands fifth
in the world knows he will have a battle to rise again in the rankings
but is confident that with time and matches he can again achieve his
world-beating form.
ATP Has Row Over Prize Money At Indian Wells
ATP
World Tour board member Mark Webster has been accused as the man
responsible for a furious row that has developed over prize money at the
upcoming BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.
Anderson To Be Back On Court Soon
South
African Kevin Anderson could be back on court as early as Memphis in
mid-February after elbow surgery in Melbourne last month. The South
African has been recuperating and doing his physio in Auckland as he
prepared for a return to the ATP after getting a minor medical
housekeeping problem sorted.
USTA To Combine Community Tennis and Player Development
The
USTA is combining Community Tennis and Player Development departments
with this new department to be housed in Player Development and led by
Dr. Paul Lubbers.
ITF Revises Fed Cup Dead Rubber Policy
The
ITF announced that it has revised the dead rubber policy for all Fed Cup
ties, starting with this weekend’s Fed Cup World Group and World Group
II first round ties on February 9-10.

at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems,
daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to
venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of
all the professionals and some juniors. The images have all been
preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color
positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact
sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and

The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is a nationally recognized
tennis facility in College Park, Maryland, that trains national and
international level elite juniors. JTCC also has a growing community
outreach program for underprivileged youth. This is a maturing
experience for JTCC players because they learn to become role-models by
teaching younger children how to play tennis.
