Radwanska’s Nude Photos Raise Fuss in Poland

Some in conservative Poland are up in arms over the discreet nude shoot done by Agnieszka Radwanska for the ESPN magazine Body Issue, where the WTA No. 4 stripped down for a shot showing her from a side angle dipping her toes into a swimming pool full of floating tennis balls.

 

 

Sharapova Splits With Coach Hogstedt

Two weeks after falling to a shock early Wimbledon exit, world no.2 Maria Sharapova has split with coach Thomas Hogstedt after three years together, highlighted by the 2012 French Open that completed her collection of Grand Slam titles.

 

 

Coach Murray Wants More Courts

Britain has enjoyed a week of tennis euphoria after Andy Murray became the first home-grown player to win the Wimbledon men’s singles title for 77 years. However Murray’s mother Judy is concerned the sport in their homeland is not geared to take advantage of her son’s success.

 

 

Ashe Exhibit Opens In Richmond

A new exhibit in Richmond called the “Inspirational Tour Exhibit” at the Science Museum of Virginia honoring Arthur Ashe has opened. It focuses on his character, career, and his contributions to society.

Digital Media Coordinator
The USTA/Midwest Section has an opening for the Digital Media Coordinator position. This is a fulltime position. The Digital Media Coordinator will lead all organizational efforts concerning social media. The position is responsible for all website administration including, but not limited to design, content development, and traffic analysis. This position will collaborate and work closely with other departments and committees to launch efforts that drive awareness of USTA programs and services, while increasing membership and participation.
