Murray Unhappy With US Open Scheduling" width="78" height="100" align="left" hspace="5">Andy
Murray enjoyed the sound of the on-court announcer introducing him to
the Arthur Ashe Stadium crowd as champion of the Olympics, the US Open
and most recently Wimbledon. What he didn’t appreciate was the decision
by tournament referee Brian Early and the rest of those who work on the
schedule to start his title defense late on the third day while rivals
had two days of rest between their first and second round matches.

Robson And Li To
Reprise 2012 Match" width="72" height="100" align="left" hspace="5">A
year ago Laura Robson took the tennis world by surprise when she knocked
former French Open champion Li Na out of the US Open when the British
teenager was only ranked 89th in the world. Now she is a seed
as the pair prepare for a rematch in round three of this year’s event
and revenge is on Li Na’s mind.

Massu To Retire" width="62" height="100" align="left" hspace="5">Retirement
announcements seem almost as prolific as matches during this year’s US
Open and in the wake of James Blake, former Olympic champion Nicolas
Massu of Chile has announced he’s hit his last competitive ball.

Henman Wary Of  A
“Real” Evans Turnaround" width="100" height="76" align="left" hspace="5">Back
in the days of their pomp in the world’s top ten, Britain’s top two
British players before the days of Andy Murray rarely saw eye to eye on
anything. And it seems Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski still share opposing
points of view when it comes to Dan Evans, the world no.179 who today
faces Bernard Tomic for a place in the US Open’s third round.

Goes From Tough Times To US Open Sensation" width="95" height="100" align="left" hspace="5">Victoria
Duval has not had an easy life. When she was seven, she was held hostage
at gunpoint, along with her two cousins, by intruders at her aunt's
house the Haitian capital, of  Port-Au-Prince, when she was just seven.

Azarenka Wins Match At 0 And 0 And Wants To
Improve" width="100" height="66" align="left" hspace="5">Victoria
Azarenka had little reaction to her love-love thrashing of her
first-round opponent at the US Open, with the second seed only worried
about improving her already devastating form..
