Williams Pulls Out of Tokyo

Serena Williams has pulled out of next week's tournament in Tokyo citing fatigue.

 

 

 

Zina Garrison Academy To Hold Gala

Former Wimbledon finalist and native Houstonian Zina Garrison will celebrate both the 20th anniversary of the Zina Garrison Tennis Academy and her 50th birthday with gala "A Story of Love" at The Houstonian Hotel on Saturday, November 16, 2013. A former Fed Cup captain, Garrison is now coaching former world junior No 1 Taylor Townsend.

 

 

Murray To Have Back Surgery Monday; Likely Finished For The Season

Andy Murray will undergo minor back surgery next week which will likely mean the early end of his season, the world No. 3 confirmed on Twitter. "Thanks so much for all the nice messages today. Having operation on Monday. Will let everyone know how it goes. I'll be "back" stronger," the two-time grand slam event winner said. His handlers also confirmed the medical procedure to treat his back pain.

 

Monfils and Anderson Preparing Now For Auckland

France's Gael Monfils and South African crowd favorite Kevin Anderson will be out to stop Spain's hard-charging David Ferrer from winning an unprecedented fifth straight title at January's Heineken Open ATP event in Auckland. Spain's Ferrer has become something of an adopted Kiwi after recently dominating the pre-Australian Open tune-up across the Tasman Sea.

 

 

Lendl Academy Begins New School Year

The Ivan Lendl International Junior Tennis Academy led by the former No.1 player in the world and coach to Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray, announced a fall class from seven states and three countries.The full-time program (grades five to 12) is based on philosophies Lendl followed to become one of the greatest players ever.

A Collection of Tennis Images For Sale

A professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems, daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of all the professionals and some juniors.  The images have all been preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact sheets, as well as digital.
