Murray To Be Honored At Buckingham Palace Thursday

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray will receive his Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire medal at Buckingham Palace tomorrow. . . and he will be among the first batch of people to have their investiture conducted by Prince William.

Even though Bernard Tomic has vowed to appoint a new coach in upcoming weeks, the new man will still have to work alongside the Australian’s star’s banned father John.

 

 

Murray Has Not Really Proved Himself Says Famous Coach

Andy Murray's run to glory last summer at Wimbledon did not convince everyone that the Scot had suddenly arrived among the ATP despite adding a second grand slam honor to his US Open title from 2012. And When Murray exited early from his New York title defense at the hands of Stanislas Wawrinka, tongues began to wag.

One of the doubters of the Murray myth is Patrick Mouratoglou, linked in more ways than one to Serena Williams and head of his own academy in Paris. The Frenchman said it was no surprise that Murray has failed to lift even in the wake of Wimbledon success. He put it down to the Scot's ingrained attitude on court.

 

Out As Coach But Annacone Believes Federer Can Win Another Slam Event

Paul Annacone led Pete Sampras to the Grand Slam title of his career in 2002. But it doesn't appear that he will have the same chance with Roger Federer, who recently parted ways with him after more than three years together. Annacone believes that Federer has a chance to win another major even though the Swiss has been in a slump.

 

 

USPTA Announces Agreement With National Family Tennis Championships

The United States Professional Tennis Association has approved the National Family Tennis Championships as a sanctioned program for USPTA Professionals in an effort to support the growth of grassroots tennis participation.

A professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems, daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies.
