World Anti Doping Agency Makes The Rules Very Clear

Although Marin Cilic had his recent drug ban shortened to four months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport when the Croatian convinced them he took the banned supplement nikethamide by mistake, the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) has now made it clear new global anti-doping rules to be agreed this week will leave no room for such excuses.

Federer Hopes For Better 2014

Roger Federer may have ended his season with only one title, his lowest mark since 2001, but he was encouraged how he finished off his 2013 campaign. The Swiss experienced back trouble for much of the spring and summer but over the past three weeks was able to contest Basel, Paris/Bercy and London. He reached a final and two semifinals, including at the ATP World Finals, where he fell to  Rafael Nadal. He is looking forward to 2014.

Del Potro Looks For Next Step

Fed Plans To Bounce Back in 2014

Roger Federer will let the mental and physical aches from his 7-5, 6-3 World Tour Finals semi-finals loss to Rafael Nadal heal while he plots strategy for a return to full form next season.

The 17-time grand slam champion who is likely to finish an unfamiliar seventh in the table, was bold enough to lay out his hopes for 2014, which starts for him in a bit under two months with a first-time appearance in Brisbane in late December.

Wawrinka Ends With A Loss But Pleased With The Season

Hiding his disappointment was not easy for Stanislas Wawrinka after losing his World Tour Finals semi to Novak Djokovic. But the "second Swiss" behind Roger Federer could not help but be pleased with his breakthrough 2013 season.
