Federer Is Looking Good In 2014

Roger Federer is undeniably in resurgent form again after winning the title in Dubai and reaching the final in Indian Wells. After an indifferent time in 2013, he now very much looks like a player who could this year add to his collection of a record 17 Grand Slam singles titles and potential reasons are numerous; a fit again body, the inclusion of Stefan Edberg in his coaching team and a bigger, potentially more powerful Wilson racket.

Del Potro Has Surgery On Wrist; Might Possibly Play Later This Year

The surgeon who performed wrist surgery on world no.8 Juan Martin Del Potro yesterday in Minnesota discovered far greater damage to the joint than was expected but there are still hopes the Argentine could be back in action before the end of the year.

Murray Likely To Play Davis Cup Doubles

Andy Murray looks set to play all three days of Britain’s upcoming Davis Cup World Group quarterfinal against Italy in Napoli after captain Leon Smith named three singles players in his four man squad of Murray, James Ward, Dan Evans and doubles specialist Colin Fleming. Dominic Inglot, who made his debut in the doubles against the United States last month has been dropped but Ross Hutchins will also travel to Italy as a reserve player.

Murray Won’t Rush To Choose Coach
