USTA Launches National Coaching Award

Three coaches are to be honored this evening as they receive the first USTA’s Team USA Coaching Legend Award at the Super Nationals Easter Bowl tournament in Indian Wells, California.

Nick Bollettieri, Robert Lansdorp and Jack Sharpe are the first coaches to receive this distinguished award which will be presented by USTA President David Haggerty.

One of the most prestigious clubs in North Carolina with 1,500 members, 2 facilities totaling 14 courts, 11 outdoor clay courts and 3 indoor hard courts, is seeking a dynamic high energy creative Teaching Professional.  Recent collegiate and tournament playing experience is needed in addition to a minimum 2 years of full time club experience teaching juniors of all levels and women’s competitive teams.

Looking for an innovative and motivated professional who is willing to help develop, organize and teach women’s competitive teams, junior programs (of all levels from 10-under to tournament juniors) in addition to teaching private lessons. The program consists of 130 women team tennis players, 60 men players and over 100 junior players.  There is a teaching staff totaling 3 full time professionals that all work together and report to the Tennis Director.  All 3 pros also help organize and run social and special events.

This is a chance to receive the education and experience needed to become a future Tennis Director. Excellent opportunity for a professional to be under a Director who has placed numerous individuals in Directors positions across the country.

Compensation includes: above average base salary and commission on lessons and clinics.  $60,000-$70,000 potential earnings.
