First setting and then extending clay court records have become a way of life for Rafael Nadal but as the world no.1 bids to become the first man ever to win the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters nine times, he sounded a man less than confident of achieving his aim.

 

Djokovic Is Preparing Now For The French Open

Novak Djokovic is not looking ahead to the French Open this year, saying that doing so last year affected him at the Masters events. "I put a lot of energy -- mentally, physically, emotionally -- into winning that title. It didn't help my performance for the tournaments prior to that, like Madrid and Rome. I have a different approach this year," he said at Monte Carlo.

 

Hingis Would Love To Play Doubles With Federer At Wimbledon

Martina Hingis would be proud to recreate history again with Roger Federer by playing doubles with her countryman at Wimbledon this summer. The now-retired Swiss who won five grand slam titles as a teenager in the late 1990s, has made a recent return to competition, claiming the Miami WTA doubles title last month with Sabine Lisicki, the German whom she also coaches.

The world's number one tennis player and PokerStars ambassador, Rafa Nadal has lost out to the world¹s best female poker player, Vanessa Selbst in a heads-up poker game. Nadal finished with slightly fewer chips than Selbst in a special charity poker game held at Casino de Monte Carlo.

One of the most prestigious clubs in North Carolina with 1,500 members, 2 facilities totaling 14 courts, 11 outdoor clay courts and 3 indoor hard courts, is seeking a dynamic high energy creative Teaching Professional.  Recent collegiate and tournament playing experience is needed in addition to a minimum 2 years of full time club experience teaching juniors of all levels and women’s competitive teams.

Looking for an innovative and motivated professional who is willing to help develop, organize and teach women’s competitive teams, junior programs (of all levels from 10-under to tournament juniors) in addition to teaching private lessons. The program consists of 130 women team tennis players, 60 men players and over 100 junior players.  There is a teaching staff totaling 3 full time professionals that all work together and report to the Tennis Director.  All 3 pros also help organize and run social and special events.

This is a chance to receive the education and experience needed to become a future Tennis Director. Excellent opportunity for a professional to be under a Director who has placed numerous individuals in Directors positions across the country.

Compensation includes: above average base salary and commission on lessons and clinics.  $60,000-$70,000 potential earnings.
