Federer Will Likely Play In Paris

Roger Federer has every intention to get quickly back to tennis and should certainly play the French Open starting in just over two weeks, his agent confirmed. Tony Godsick told the New York Times that his client has been training in Switzerland throughout the later stages of wife Mirka's pregnancy, which culminated this week with the birth of a set of twin boys.

 

The Murray Family Pay Respects To Bally

The Murrays, Britain’s foremost tennis family, maintained a distinct silence to show respect for the nation’s former no.1 female player Elena Baltacha following her untimely death through liver cancer at the beginning of the week.  

 

Djokovic Is Expected To Play Rome

Novak Djokovic is expected to return next week at Rome after pulling out of this week's event at Madrid with a wrist injury.

"He should be ready for Rome," his physiotherapist, Pavel Kovlar, told AFP. "Then the French Open should follow. The treatment was last week but we agreed he should resume gradually, so as to prevent a re-occurrence. ''
