The US Open is the world’s highest-attended annual sporting event. The USTA will unveil its first pop-up restaurant at Grand Central Station, serving free US Open signature dishes and offering special giveaways to the public.

Tony Mantuano, US Open celebrity chef, James Beard Award winner, chef/partner at Spiaggia, and star of season two of Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters” is the featured chef.

The pop-up restaurant will be open Wednesday, August 12 at 12:30 until early afternoon that day.

The US Open Pop-Up Restaurant will featured trademark cuisine creations from acclaimed US Open celebrity chefs, Tony Mantuano and Richard Sandoval. Visitors will have an option to choose two menu items while supplies last, including the US Open signature lobster roll, Tony Mantuano’s tomato bread from Wine Bar Food, Richard Sandoval’s Maya chopped salad, and Hill Country Barbecue’s chopped brisket sliders.

In addition to these menu items, Lavazza will be serving a 12 oz. premium iced coffee and evian® Natural Spring Water will be available. Also, Coca-Cola will be on hand with its “Share a Coke” activation, which allows each person to create two personalized cans – one to keep and one to share with friends and family.

The US Open Pop-Up Restaurant will give fans a unique opportunity to preview the culinary offerings to be served onsite during the two-week event held August 31-September 13.
