Western Souther Open Tennis News

The Western and Southern Open isn’t just selling tickets to the tennis, it’s selling tickets to its concessions. And both seem popular with fans.

The combined ATP and WTA event at Cincinnati recently had its fifth annual Cyber Monday tale, giving a10 percent discount off the tournament’s Court Cards, which can be redeemed for refreshments or tournament items.

This year’s deal brought in $95,475, a $20,000 annual increase and the most the tournament has ever sold. It is a big increase from the first year’s total of $14,000 worth of cards.

There were 607 cards sold to 411 customers from 29 states, according to the tournament.
