Maria Sharapova Tennis News

Maria Sharapova has apparently been fully occupied off the court prior to traveling to Singapore to test herself at the WTA Finals. The Los Angeles Times reports that the highest earner in all of women’s sport has sold her Manhattan Beach waterside mansion in an efficient and quiet transaction.

According to reports, the home used on the Left Coast by the world No. 4 changed hands in a private sale for $5.25 million. Like almost everything else she touches in the financial and sponsor world, the deal turned to gold for the 28-year-old.

Public records show that Sharapova, who owns other property in the trendy waterfront area south of LAX along the 405 freeway, bought the house a decade ago for $3.735. Her gross profit wound be in the $1.5 million range, almost the same as a champion’s fortnight of work to win a grand slam.

The Sharapova pad, which she shared at the time for former boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov after giving him one of the several Porsches she has won at the WTA Stuttgart event, stands two blocks from the Manhattan Beach Strand, a panoramic seaside commercial stretch.

The home is described as a three-story contemporary-style home features walls of tempered glass windows and a rooftop patio with ocean views.

It comprises four bedrooms and five bathrooms and 350 square meters. There is room for a couple of Porsches in the garage, which is separate from the house.
