The Intercollegiate Tennis Association and ZebraWeb.org have announced their official partnership, whereby ZebraWeb.org will serve as the digital platform for all ITA Officials.

Founded and created by N.J. Cogliati, a 26-year football official and technology integration executive, ZebraWeb.org works with over 20 sports, including collegiate Olympic and professional sports. ZebraWeb.org will be the online hub for all ITA Officials communications, training, education and certification.

“The ITA is thrilled to be joining forces with N.J. and the ZebraWeb.org team. The start to this important relationship already feels like one big happy family,” said ITA CEO Timothy Russell. “When the ITA took over the certification process for ITA Officials at the beginning of this season, we knew we wanted to provide great value to all of those that serve as ITA Officials and that the ITA now serves. ZebraWeb.org has the infrastructure in place to allow our officials to access all of the tools they need to succeed, and we’re confident that this collaboration with ZebraWeb.org will be fruitful for ITA Officials for years to come.”

“We are very excited about the partnership with the ITA,” said Cogliati, ZebraWeb.org founder and President. “The goals of the ITA from training, developing and communicating with their officials, parallel the goals and missions of ZebraWeb.org.”

The ZebraWeb.org partnership will allow the ITA to track all the particulars about an official (experience, tenure, certification, personal information), and allows officials to update their own records. Meeting attendance, dues paid and training collateral can also be managed, and through ZebraWeb.org, the ITA can also offer the capabilities to perform online testing and online meetings (e-learning for officials).

“ZebraWeb.org has worked hand-in-hand with the ITA to develop an education, training, communication, and certification digital platform that can grow with our needs,” said ITA Officials National Task Force member, Anthony Montero. Montero will be the head referee at the 2016 Men’s Division I NCAA Championship. “The entire ITA Officials National Task Force is excited for our future because of this new partnership.”

“ZebraWeb.org allows the ITA and its officiating community one centralized place for information and idea exchanging,” said ITA Officials National Taskforce member, Darren Potkey, who will be the head referee at the 2016 Men’s and Women’s Division III NCAA Championships. “With its simplified user interface and many capabilities, ZebraWeb.org will help the ITA ensure the future of collegiate tennis officiating is bright.”

Cogliati began ZebraWeb.org nearly nine years ago.

“As an official, you have people that give you games, known as either coordinators or assigners,” said Cogliati. “I had an assigner that gave me two games on the same date and time in two different places. When that happened, I thought why don’t we put together a basic website that allows them to put in place all of the details so that if I’m assigned to one game, I can’t be assigned to another game if the dates and times are the same. I also wanted to add in an availability option so that officials weren’t assigned games if there was a personal scheduling conflict.

“When the ZebraWeb.org idea first came to me, it was very basic, but since the beginning of ZebraWeb.org, our program has evolved into what we consider the most feature-rich officials operations system and data reporting engine that’s out there. Coupled with our Game Film Exchange service, for officials and coaches, as well as our Zebra-Pay Service, we truly are providing our subscribing partners a unified platform to manage all aspects of game scheduling, assigning, official’s development, film access, and officials payment.”
