Wes Beaullieu has been appointed as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s new Championships Coordinator. Beaullieu, who attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, began his duties with the ITA on February 3.

“Wes will be an awesome addition to our team,” said ITA Chief Operating Officer Erica Perkins Jasper. “He has a lot of hands on tournament experience as well as a knack for organization and technology solutions and we are excited for him to hit the ground running this month in the heat of the dual match season.”

Prior to joining the ITA, Beaullieu spent the past six-plus years working in the Corpus Christi, Texas, tennis circuit. Most recently, he was a Youth Tennis Coach and Tournament Coordinator at Tennis Success, Inc., and was an Assistant Project Manager at Progressive Structures, Inc.

I’m so excited to have Wes join our team,” said ITA Director of Championships Cory Brooks. “Having worked alongside him in the past, I know that we’re getting a guy with an extensive skill set to go along with a great work ethic and attitude. I’m confident that our members will be as pleased with this hire as I am.”

At the ITA, Beaullieu will assist the ITA Director of Championships with all day-to-day operations, including: ITA Tournament Sanctioning, ITA Championships Administration, ITA Summer Circuit Administration, database management, communication with tournament directors, referees, hosts, sponsors and ITA-member coaches, in addition to providing support to team-based efforts as directed.

“I am more than excited to begin working with the ITA,” said Beaullieu. “I’m very passionate about tennis and I can’t wait to be part of such a great team.”
