The sponsorship agreement between BNP Paribas and the Monte Carlo Masters has received a multi-year extension.

The French bank, one of the biggest sponsors in tennis, will stay on as “premier,” a partner of the tournament, of which Rolex is the title sponsor.

“This partnership increases the visibility of our brand and our relationship with our customers.” Anne Pointet, a bank executive in charge of the Mediterranean region, said in a statement. “We are pleased to renew this partnership.”

“It is an honor to be associated with BNP Paribas, No. 1 partner of the tennis world. The renewing of this partnership shows the reputation of the tournament and will provide for the sustained development of the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters, attracting more fans and players than ever,” said Zeljko Franulovic, tournament director.

Reflecting the agreement, the draw ceremony took place at a Monaco museum, with BNP Paribas inviting 2,400 guests and 120 children from a charitable project.

And, in addition, the tournament has also signed up four other existing sponsors again, and added Emirates and Peugeot as others.
