Top seed James Duckworth (NSW) was awarded a wildcard into the men’s singles main draw of Australian Open 2016 today following Benjamin Mitchell’s withdrawal, in the Australian Open Play-off final, due to the birth of his first child.

Maddison Inglis (WA) defeated Arina Rodionova (Vic) 6-4 6-2, to win her spot in the women’s singles main draw in January.

Bradley Mousley (SA) and Jess Moore (WA) defeated Canberra duo James Frawley and Alison Bai 4-1 4-0 at the Win a Wildcard final today, earning themselves a place in the mixed doubles event.
