Memphis Open Tennis News

The Memphis Open says it is “bringing back the love” for tennis as the 40th Anniversary at the Racquet Club of Memphis is nearing its launch.
Presented by ServiceMaster, the tournament will begin next week, the only ATP indoors in the United States.

The Memphis Open is reporting that the School Zone viewing section of the tournament is sold out on Monday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday afternoon. The VIP Zone is sold out on Monday and Thursday nights. Special courtside champagne tables are sold out on Thursday night with four-seat VIP boxes sold out and a limited number of six-seat VIP boxes remaining available.

“We said we were bringing back the love to the Memphis Open this year and it seems Memphis agrees with us as we have had great results in advanced ticket and box seat sales,” said Erin Mazurek, Memphis Open Tournament Director. “We’ve been hard at work adding programming and personalized touches to the tournament this year.”

The tournament has also added the installation of blue and white up lighting at the main and side entrances, and shuttles have been added for customer convenience.

Kei Nishikori is the defending champion. Other players include Kevin Anderson, Tommy Haas, Steve Johnson, Donald Young and Sam Querrey.
