U.S. Fed Cup Team has personnel change

The match-ups for this weekend’s Fed Cup by BNP Paribas quarterfinal tie between the U.S. and France have been announced, and U.S. Fed Cup Captain Mary Joe Fernandez has announced that Christina McHale will replace Shenay Perry on the team’s roster.

Melanie Oudin vs. Pauline Parmentier

Sunday’s rubbers: Melanie Oudin vs. Alize Cornet
Bethanie Mattek-Sands vs. Pauline Parmentier
Liezel Huber and Bethanie Mattek-Sands vs.
Stephanie Cohen-Aloro and Julie Coin

Christina McHale, the reigning USTA Girls’ 18s National Champion who is currently No. 215 in the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Rankings, will replace Shenay Perry on the team’s roster due to a wrist injury that Perry suffered.
