Murray Doesn’t Like His Match Schedule 

Andy Murray and coach Ivan Lendl are furious about the Australian Open’s decision to schedule Roger Federer’s quarterfinal against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga as the Swiss’ fourth consecutive night match at Melbourne Park while the third seeded Scot is again designated to play in the full afternoon heat with forecast temperatures close to 30 degrees Celsius.

 

Tension Between Rafter and Tomic Has Lessened A Bit

The peace process between Australian Davis Cup captain Patrick Rafter and the outcast Bernard Tomic is ongoing but the 20 year-old remains on the suspended list for next month’s Asia/Oceania Zone Group One tie against Chinese Taipei in Kaohsiung City.

 

Raonic Played in Pain

Milos Raonic had a logical explanation for his fourth-round hammering at the hands of Roger Federer at the Australian Open - the Canadian seed was playing with a pain-killing injection in his left foot.

A professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems, daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of all the professionals and some juniors.  The images have all been preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and they are for sale. Seller will transfer copyright and will give total usage to the purchaser. Position:  Community Outreach Manager

The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is a nationally recognized tennis facility in College Park, Maryland, that trains national and international level elite juniors.  JTCC also has a growing community outreach program for underprivileged youth.  This is a maturing experience for JTCC players because they learn to become role-models by teaching younger children how to play tennis.

Community Outreach Manager (COM) will work closely with the General Manger and CEO to manage all facets of program.
