Nadal Is In Chile Returning To The Tour
All
eyes are on Rafael Nadal as the Spaniard steps onto court for the first
time since late June to test his chronic knee injuries with a doubles
match in Chile. Coach and uncle Toni Nadal believes his nephew has
improved after four days of training since arriving.
Nadal Might Become A Fresh Target On Court
Rafael
Nadal might easily become a fresh target for opponents as he returns to
tennis after more than seven months away due to his lingering knee
problems. Three-time Australian Open finalist Andy Murray believes that
the one-time king of clay could well be vulnerable to rivals as he steps
back into action over the next month at three smaller ATP events.
Lack Of Space Facing The Australian Open
Among
other problems facing the Australian Open is a lack of space - on the
venerable men's trophy.
Officials are worried that the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup is
critically short of silver real estate, with room for only one name
below that of 2013 champion Novak Djokovic.

International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum and the International Tennis
Federation (ITF) have presented the 2013 Golden Achievement Award to
Geoff Pollard AM, the past-president and chairman of Tennis Australia
and a current vice president of the ITF.
