FINALS REVIEW – BERLOCQ DENIED TITLE 'DOUBLE'; MONROE/STADLER VICTORIOUS

•    Carlos Berlocq captured his first ATP World Tour title at the SkiStar Swedish Open to become the ninth over-30 champion this season.
•    Berlocq followed in the footsteps of fellow Argentine Mariano Zabaleta, the 2003 and 2004 Båstad winner, with victory in the final, which lasted one hour and 38 minutes.
•    The 30-year-old Berlocq, who had previously finished runner-up to Juan Monaco at Acapulco in February 2012, earned €78,300 in prize money and 250 Emirates ATP Ranking points.
•    Nicholas Monroe and Simon Stadler clinched their first ATP World Tour doubles trophy.

WHAT THE PLAYERS SAID

Carlos Berlocq:
"I'm really excited with my achievement this week. I've been working hard to fulfil this dream and today I made it. You have to be patient to get a title. I think the key was the mind-set I had from the first to the last match. Mental toughness was the key. I went through hard times, but I kept working hard and finally I did it. You have to never give up. It was my dream week."
