Djokovic’s Father Sounds Off About The Top Players

Numerous comparisons have been made between the current era of men’s tennis, spearheaded by Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, and the bygone age of Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl. The one constant in making the quartet of more than three decades ago more entertaining was a lack of angst and confrontational edge between the current high-flyers but all that might not be the case according to Djokovic’s father Srdjan.

 

Nadal Denies Djokovic And He Are Enemies

Rafael Nadal has interrupted his post-Wimbledon training and holiday to deny reports in the Serbian press that he and rival Novak Djokovic have somehow become mortal enemies off the court. Outspoken Srdjan Djokovic, father of world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, told Serbian media that his son and Nadal no longer get along.

 

 

Azarenka Aims For US Open Title

World No. 3 Victoria Azarenka is a no-nonsense competitor who does not hold a lot back. Last year at the US Open, facing her nemesis Serena Williams in the final, she served for the match at 5-4 in the third set. She didn't play a terrible game, but by no means played a great one. Williams would win the set 7-5 and the title, and then No. 1 Azarenka was on the outside looking in.

Tennis Dynamics manages the Laurel Park Tennis Center and we are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and professional individual to round out our current staff. The Laurel Park Tennis Center is located in Marietta, GA. The facility consists of 13 tennis courts. Our programs include junior and adult ALTA/USTA teams as well as Junior and Adult clinics during the week and weekends.  The ideal candidate will have collegiate playing experience and/or an NTRP rating of 4.5 or higher. The position will begin as part-time but could easily lead to a full-time position for the right individual. This individual will assist in implementing current programs and help create new programs. Professional certification preferred as well as strong playing skills. Candidates will also possess strong communication skills, positive attitude, excellent teamwork, desire to provide outstanding customer service, and a charismatic enthusiasm about the sport of tennis. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekend and potentially holiday hours. This position will receive an hourly rate for all clinics, lessons, and team practices taught. Racquet stringing and pro shop hours may also be part of this individual’s responsibility. Compensation is based on experience. A Collection of Tennis Images For Sale

A professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems, daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of all the professionals and some juniors.  The images have all been preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact sheets, as well as digital.
