WTA and USANA True Health Foundation Continue Winning Partnership

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has today made a donation of $5,000 to the USANA True Health Foundation, a not-for-profit charity whose mission is to provide the most critical human necessities to those suffering or in need. The WTA’s ongoing support of the USANA True Health Foundation has seen $65,000 donated to the Organization since 2011.

At the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships in Istanbul earlier today, WTA Chairman and CEO Stacey Allaster and USANA Brand Ambassador Sloane Stephens announced the donation to the USANA True Health Foundation.

“The WTA applauds USANA’s humanitarian efforts through the establishment of the USANA True Health Foundation. We are honored to play a role in helping USANA in their global efforts and support this important cause,” said Stacey Allaster, Chairman and CEO of the WTA.

“The WTA has played a substantial role in our humanitarian efforts this year through the generous donations we’ve received from it over the past seven months,” said USANA True Health Foundation President Elaine Pace. “We are grateful for this wonderful partnership and thank the WTA for their continued support in helping us aid those in need around the world.”

“I’m not only proud to be an USANA Ambassador because of the great products, but also to be associated with a company that is trying to make a difference to those less fortunate,” said Stephens. "The USANA True Health Foundation is helping millions of people around the world, and I’m happy to be part of such a worthwhile cause."

Throughout 2013, the WTA and USANA joined forces for ‘Champions for Change’ which saw leading players such as Daniela Hantuchova and Jelena Jankovic recognized for their charitable efforts and donations were made in March and August.
