Italy may have been victorious in the Davis Cup World Group quarterfinal against Great Britain but the Federazione Italiana Tennis could face censure and a heavy fine from the International Tennis Federation for the poor court surface in Naples that was roundly branded dangerous.

 

Davis Cup Semifinals Set For September 12-14

France will host Czech Republic and Italy will travel to Switzerland in the Davis Cup  semifinals after an historic weekend of quarterfinal action.

The United States Fed Cup Will Be Without One Williams Sister And Likely Two

Venus Williams said at Charleston she was not playing the World Group playoff this month against France. Serena, meanwhile, said she "needed some weeks where I don't think about tennis" following a defeat in her opening match at Charleston.

One of the most prestigious clubs in North Carolina with 1,500 members, 2 facilities totaling 14 courts, 11 outdoor clay courts and 3 indoor hard courts, is seeking a dynamic high energy creative Teaching Professional.  Recent collegiate and tournament playing experience is needed in addition to a minimum 2 years of full time club experience teaching juniors of all levels and women’s competitive teams.

Looking for an innovative and motivated professional who is willing to help develop, organize and teach women’s competitive teams, junior programs (of all levels from 10-under to tournament juniors) in addition to teaching private lessons. The program consists of 130 women team tennis players, 60 men players and over 100 junior players.  There is a teaching staff totaling 3 full time professionals that all work together and report to the Tennis Director.  All 3 pros also help organize and run social and special events.

This is a chance to receive the education and experience needed to become a future Tennis Director. Excellent opportunity for a professional to be under a Director who has placed numerous individuals in Directors positions across the country.

Compensation includes: above average base salary and commission on lessons and clinics.  $60,000-$70,000 potential earnings.
